Over all a good quality tool that's worked well
My grandfather had the same tool many years back when I was quite young, from then when tools where built to last a lifetime vs now when everything is half thought out and disposable, I wasn't sure of what to expect with this. I ordered this based on the Amazon reviews and am happy to say the tool feels to be of quality and has good clicks as you dial through the various sizes of the cutting surfaces. The tool was used on a number of thick leather belts and dog collars, the cut was clean and perfect each time. The over all package which comes with a few extra tools, I think for the price is a good deal, I would gladly recommend this tool based on my experience thus far.

AWESOME HOLE PUNCH - AWESOME SELLER!!
I would give this seller more stars if I could! They really go the extra mile to satisfy the customer! This is a very good leather hole punch indeed, however, I had a little issue with the first one, no fault of the seller though, a manufacturer defect no doubt. After completing a project with it, I wanted to let seller know what the issue was so they can inspect the others they had in stock. No way was I tryna exchange mine after all I had used it! Which is fair because I should have exchanged it once I noticed the problem. So I sent a message explaining the problem I had with the item and let it go at that. To my surprise, the next day I was notified that I received a refund for this item from my bank, then a few days later a package arrived and it was a new hole punch to replace the defect one! I couldn't believe it! I was actually speechless and didn't know what to say when thanking them! lol. Anyway, the new one works great, no problems with it at all and I am very happy with my decision to shop here! I'm also very impressed by this seller's professionalism. I practiced on a few before punching a Hermès
I was pretty skeptical how good this would be, so I tested it on several other belts first ... before using it on a very expensive Hermès leather belt. This tool worked perfectly every single time. As you can see, all the tightest holes are punched by the tool. The third belt has a single hole, becuase I bought a strip of leather to practice this tool on. Needless to say, I did one shot on that and decided it was good to go and started working on my other belts. The tool also includes a new Awl tool, it definitely helped when I marked the spot that I wanted to punch, as well as digging out the leather that is punched out by the hole. This tool also includes multiple other accessories that seem useful, like 3 additional punch plates - but I haven’t used any of those yet. Mainly, it does the primary job well, which is punching a clean hole that is identical to the others while preserving meticulously the surrounding leather, including on a ridiculously expensive Hermès belt. The description was very accurate and the product was even better than expected. Over the years I have used several leather hole punches and they are plagued with poor hinge points, rust easily, cutters easily dull or not sharp, and finally the cutters would push out due to the necessitated added pressure needed to punch the intended hole. The Skilled Crafter Pro Hole Punch takes care of those issues. As indicated in the product description the handles are well designed and cushioned. The hinges are of quality of construction and do require less effort to properly punch holes. In fact the first few holes I punched I actually used too much pressure and left unnecessary deep cut marks in the plate. No problem because they include a second plate with the order along with a screwdriver and holder. Also the cutters are held in place by a collar to prevent push through in the event of heavy punching pressure. This tool is a welcome improvement over the more common hole punches. A quality product at a fair value price.

Great Product, Caring Company
The product is great and I'm really impressed with Skilled Crafter's customer service! I don't know this because I contacted them with questions/problems, but because they were proactive and care so much about their product that they reached out with a user's guide containing tips and tricks before it even arrived! I've used the leather hole punch on a pair of sling backs that had become too loose and I can't wait to use it more. I'm even looking for more projects just so I can use it again! It works very well with minimal effort and comes with several helpful tools as well.

I recently purchased the Skilled Crafter Hole Punch and it arrived exactly as promised, in a cardboard box which housed the punch, 3 spare punch plates, a clear 6" ruler, remover tool, and tiny screwdriver in its own plastic case. My 18 yr old daughter had no trouble punching nice, clean holes in the straps of several of my leather bags. The holes look exactly like the premade ones that were already on the straps. The punch seems sturdy and should last a very long time. I'm very pleased with this puchase and would definitely recommend it to others.

Excellent product!
I couldn't find anyone in my town (surprisingly) that could punch a simple hole through a thick leather watch band, so I gave up and bought this after researching on Amazon. I can honestly say that this tool did an excellent job on punching a hole in my watch band. It was very easy to do. It's just like using a hole punch you use for paper. They offer 6 sizes but none of them were exactly the same size of the holes already on the watch, but, hey, it was very close-- I used the smallest setting. It also comes with a plastic ruler. The hole punch feels heavy duty and very well made. I'm very happy and wish I had this earlier for making belt and bag strap holes.

Not gonna lie, I was extremely nervous to punch a hole into my brand new $140 dollar birkenstocks. But after breaking them in the straps were too loose. They definitely needed an additional hole. I got this punch in the mail... how to use it was completely self explanatory just by looking at the device even having never laid eyes on one before. I picked the same size as the other holes, lined it up and it created a completely clean and identical hole to the others in less than 30 seconds. It required almost zero squeeze effort to make the punch. I made the hole on the top, the tightest one if I had the sandal on. As you can see it is identical to the others. Highly recommended product.

Amazing Tool, Outstanding Seller/Company
This leather hole punch is fantastic, and so is the customer service from Skilled Crafter. The first punch I received had been tampered with during transit, I'm assuming by someone in the USPS system. The shipping package had been ripped opened, as was the box that the pliers come in, so the punch and accessories were all over the place. When I tried to punch a couple of holes in deer hide and a belt, I was completely disappointing. Out of several attempts, I only got one nice, clean hole. I contacted Skilled Crafter and I swear to high heaven, I've never received such quick and great attention, and courtesy! Within a few hours they had sent a replacement punch, and I had it by the next day! And guess what, it works just as described in their listing! I've punched holes I didn't even need, just because I could. I took one belt and punched a new hole between every existing hole, and it not only added a bit of a design element, but it allows me to actually buckle it where I need it instead of having to wear it too tight (or too loose, which totally defeats the purpose of a belt, right?) I've used it on lightweight deer hide as well as the leather belt that was 2.25mm thick. The punch works beautifully! I have small hands with not an overwhelming amount of strength, but I'm able to use it with very little effort. Well constructed, easy to use, and great customer service.... I have to recommend this Skilled Crafter tool. I plan to use it in a new venture I'm starting, and it will be used a lot. I expect it to hold up very well, but if anything changes, I'll update this post. I'd like to thank Ella, the lady at Skilled Crafter who went above and beyond to make sure she had a happy customer! A first class professional tool with all the necessary peripheral needs. Works easier and far better than I expected. Also, the best customer service I've experienced in years. The first puncher I received had a punch plate slightly misaligned. The puncher still worked perfectly well by putting a small piece of cardboard underneath the belt I was punching. The retailer sends out a customer satisfaction message and instruction page via email. I just mentioned the anomaly in my return complimentary review, and they sent out a new perfectly aligned puncher free of charge without requiring the original to be sent back. [If you read an earlier review, pictures and all, complaining about the same thing, imagine if this guy just mentioned the problem to the retailer and simply asked for an exchange. He shouldn't have been so quick to act like a troll with all the customer reviews about superior service.]
